Farley’s Lane — Complete Kitchen & Dining Refurbishment
A back-to-brick kitchen rebuild combining new services, subfloor reconstruction, underfloor heating, tiling, plastering and whole-house electrical compliance work.
The project
RCS delivered a complete kitchen and dining refurbishment at Farley’s Lane, stripping the space back so the building fabric, floor and services could be handled correctly before the client’s new kitchen was installed.
The work went far beyond a cosmetic replacement. It combined structural floor preparation, new electrical and plumbing services, ceiling reconstruction, plastering, underfloor heating, tiling and wider electrical compliance work across the property.
The challenge
The existing floor required reconstruction and levelling, services had to be rerouted, and the ceiling needed to be removed, insulated and rebuilt. The project also exposed a need for a wider electrical inspection and remedial programme, so the kitchen work and whole-house safety upgrades had to be coordinated as one controlled scope.

The outcome
The completed space combines modern services, underfloor heating, a durable tiled floor and a professionally fitted kitchen. The wider electrical inspection and remedial work also improved safety and compliance beyond the immediate refurbishment area.
